The Centre for Environmental Law & Community Rights Inc. (CELCOR) is Papua New Guinea’s premier public interest environmental law non-governmental organization.
Who We Are
Established to address the growing environmental and social challenges arising from resource extraction across Papua New Guinea, CELCOR works hand-in-hand with indigenous landowners, rural communities, and public interest groups.
We combine rigorous legal research, policy advocacy, community legal education, and strategic litigation to protect customary lands, preserve fragile ecosystems, and ensure sustainable resource management.
