A recent report published by BankTrack and several environmental groups highlights a major development in the Papua LNG project. According to the article, 11 clans in the PRL15 gasfield lease area have officially withdrawn their Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) for the project.
The publication raises significant concerns regarding transparency, noting that key documents like environmental permits and landowner identification studies are being kept from the public.
